The deadline is Saturday, Sept. 15, for artists to submit renderings for BUST, an art-fashion show to raise awareness and funding for Woman’s Hospital breast cancer care, support and education services.
The show is a project of the BR Walls Project and Privé, and fits into the Walls Project’s goal of beautifying the city through the arts, education, and social equality.
Selected artists will decorate bras with paint, jewelry, metal, photography, poetry, fabric, glass, mixed media or any medium of the artist’s choosing.
The art bras will be worn at the Thursday, Oct. 18, show by breast cancer survivors and models and then auctioned off in a silent auction.
Tickets are $75 for the event in the Hartley/Vey Theatres at the Manship Theatre, 100 Lafayette St.
