Two accredited by Sunday school body
The Revs. John Sanders Sr., pastor of Second Baptist Church in Wilson, and Perry Jones, Jr., associate minister, have graduated from the Division of Christian Education Accreditation And Credentials of the Sunday School Publishing Board in Nashville, Tenn.
The board was established in 1915 by the National Baptist Convention USA Inc. to be official publisher for the convention.
Sanders has been at Second Baptist for eight years and Jones for six.
Acadian Baptist plans memorial walk
The Acadian Baptist Center, 1202 Academy Drive in Eunice, has planned a brick walkway project to honor the former Acaida Baptist Academy and raise money for the ongoing ministry of the center.
For a donation of $50.00, a brick will be engraved honoring or memorializing the person specified by donor and placed in the A.B.A. Memorial Walkway at Acadian Baptist Center.
