The Advocate has an opening in the Circulation department for a full-time Zone Manager for the New Orleans area.
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Circulation Zone Manager is responsible for overseeing the initiation and implementation of home delivery sales, customer service and collection for their designated zone. This individual will also oversee all home delivery administrative functions for the zone including, but not limited too, planning, reporting and general organization of the zone. The Zone Manager will oversee employees to ensure contractors and end users receive product in a timely manner.
Required Education, Prior Work Experience & Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
Successful candidate should have at least two years of post-high school education/training in addition to at least two years of experience in the circulation field. Knowledge of circulation and previous managerial experience required. Thorough knowledge of customer service, quality service standards, alternative delivery systems, and customer satisfaction evaluation techniques is a must. Must have working knowledge of all Microsoft software, the internet, and office equipment. Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills are a must.
