The Advocate has an opening in the Display Advertising department for a Full-Time Multimedia Sales Consultant to work 40 hours per week.
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for sales and service of business accounts in the area for advertising in The Advocate and theadvocate.com along with any other products presented. Successful candidate will participate in special sales efforts, attend meetings and training as requested, and represent the company at various business functions. The overall goal of this position is to exceed business year over year and achieve revenue objectives consistently.
Required Education, Prior Work Experience & Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Sales preferred. Sales experience is needed with media sales experience preferred. Successful candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to relate to all levels of business, should be PC literate, skilled with Microsoft Outlook, and have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Time management and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities is required for this position.
