NEW ORLEANS - Tulane quarterback Ryan Griffin will be continuing his football career in New Orleans.
Griffin confirmed Saturday that he had signed a free agent contract with the Saints after going undrafted over the last three days.
Griffin, a three-year starter for Tulane who threw for 9,036 yards and 56 touchdowns in his career, had worked out with the Saints recently.
Tulane's Pro Day was held at the Saints' facility, which Tulane used during spring practice due to the construction of the Green Wave's new on-campus stadium.
Griffin, who was rated the No. 11 nationally by NFLDraftScout.com, was the MVP of the Texas vs. the Nation All-Star Game.
There were 11 quarterbacks taken in the draft.
