Marshall beats Tulane 4-3 in 11 innings in CUSA baseball 

Marshall's Isaac Ballou had a bases-loaded RBI single in the bottom of the 11th to lift the Thundering Herd to a 4-3 victory against Tulane in a Conference USA game in Charleston, W.Va.

Tulane (20-21, 5-8) was led by pitchers Tony Rizzotti, who allowed three runs on five hits in five innings.

Marshall (16-24, 5-8) was led by Aaron Bossi, who was 3 for 4 with three RBIs.

Tulane led 3-1 in the third after Garrett Cannizaro scored on a one-out sacrifice fly by Bowen Woodson.

But Marshall scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth to tie the score.
