Hitter of the Week: Alex Bregman, LSU, Fr. Bregman hit .632 (12 of 19) in four games with two doubles, three RBIs and six runs. He had three hits in all four games and had the game-winning RBI single in the 13th inning of LSU’s 2-1 win over Northwestern State.

Pitchers of the Week: Ian Gibaut, Tulane, Fr., and Blake Ware, McNeese State, Sr. Gibaut recorded two saves against Memphis. In three appearances, the right-hander tossed six scoreless innings with six strikeouts. Ware pitched 10.2 scoreless innings against Lamar and helped the Cowboys staff set a school record with 25 consecutive scoreless innings.

SEC

Hitter of the Week: Alex Bregman, LSU, see above.

Pitcher of the Week: Ryne Stanek, Arkansas, Jr. Stanek pitched the second complete game of his collegiate career to lead Arkansas to the series-clinching win over South Carolina on Saturday. Stanek allowed two unearned runs on three hits and struck out a season-high seven.

Freshman of the Week: Matt Kent, Texas A&M. The southpaw pitched five scoreless innings as the Aggies rallied from a 5-2 deficit to beat No. 6 Ole Miss 10-6 and complete a doubleheader sweep on Saturday.

Conference USA

Pitcher of the Week: Aaron Blair, Marshall, Jr. Blair threw six no-hit innings with 11 strikeouts against in-state rival West Virginia.

Hitter of the Week: Parker Webster, Central Florida, Jr. Webster had four multiple-hit games and seven RBIs. Webster drove in seven runs and scored three times.

Sun Belt

Hitter of the Week: Michael Adkins, Middle Tennessee. Atkins hit .381 with a .762 slugging percentage in a win over No. 2 Vanderbilt and a three-game sweep of UL-Lafayette. He had two home runs and nine RBIs.

Pitcher of the Week: Jarron Cito, South Alabama, Sr. Cito struck out a career-high 11 and allowed one unearned run in a one-hit win over UALR.

Southland

Hitter of the Week: Logan Domenico, Oral Roberts. Domenico batted .524 (11 of 21)in five games.

Pitcher of the Week: Cody Dickson, Sam Houston State and Jonathan Dziedzic, Lamar. Dickson tossed a one-hit shutout with a career-high 11 strikeouts against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Dziedzic pitched 10 shutout innings against McNeese State with 12 strikeouts.

Western Athletic

Hitter of the Week: Bre’shon Kimbell, Louisiana Tech, Soph. Kimbell hit .545 (6 of 11), with a home run, six RBIs, two doubles, two walks and five runs.

American Southwest

Hitter of the Week: Christian DeBlanc, Texas Lutheran, Jr. DeBlanc went 8 for 12 with a double and three RBIs to fuel three wins. He also walked three times, scored twice, did not strike out and stole four bases.

Pitcher of the Week: Bristan Clingaman, Concordia, Sr. Clinagman tossed a two-hit shutout without a walk to lead the Tornados in a 6-0 division win over Sul Ross State.
