Banks, the freshman son of Jaguars coach Roman Banks, went 5-for-6 from the floor in 32 minutes. Malcolm Miller scored a game-high 16 points for Southern, hitting 4 of 6 shots from 3-point range. Chris Hyder had six assists and one turnover. Javan Mitchell came off the bench for 12 points. The Jaguars held Fanshawe to 28 percent shooting and had a 31-24 advantage in rebounds. Southern defeated Windsor University in overtime Wednesday and held on for a six-point win over Western Ontario on Thursday. NCAA guidelines allow teams to take a foreign trip once every four years.
