The teams will meet April 16. First pitch at Lee-Hines Field is set for 6 p.m. Pete Goldsby Field, where Southern opened its season with three games against Stillman College, was unavailable Tuesday because Baton Rouge Community College has a doubleheader against Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Southern opens Southwestern Athletic Conference play with a three-game series at Arkansas-Pine Bluff beginning with a Saturday doubleheader. The Jaguars (3-4) lost two of three games at the Urban Invitational in Houston this past weekend, falling to Texas Southern and Alabama State before beating reigning SWAC champion Prairie View on Sunday.
