Things now start at 11 a.m. June 10-12 ADVOCATE NEWS SERVICES June 16, 2014 Comments The Saints on Wednesday said they had slightly pushed back the start time to the practices for their mandatory minicamp from June 10-12, which will be open to the public. All three practices will be from 11 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. at the Saints’ practice facility (5800 Airline Drive in Metairie), according to the team. The sessions had been scheduled to go from 10:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. before the change Wednesday. The Saints said gates will open one hour before each practice (10 a.m.), and attendance is free of charge. Officials encouraged fans to arrive early. Fans going to practice should expect to be checked via hand-wanding and for their bags to be examined by security. Items such as backpacks, oversized handbags, video cameras, outside food and beverage, and pets are prohibited, the Saints said. * Note: The Saints had originally said the gates would open 45 minutes before practice started. But on Wednesday they sent an updated communique announcing the gates would open one hour before practice.
