Khiry Robinson inactive; Mark Ingram available to play
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Wide receiver Marques Colston, safety Roman Harper and safety Malcolm Jenkins will all miss Sunday’s game at the New York Jets with hurt knees, the New Orleans Saints said. They were all listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report.
Three other inactives announced Sunday are healthy: rookie running back Khiry Robinson, No. 3 quarterback Ryan Griffin and tackle Terron Armstead. Defensive end Tyrunn Walker was ruled out Saturday with a knee injury.
Robinson’s status means running back Mark Ingram is available to play for the Saints (6-1) for the first time since Week 2. Ingram missed the past five games with a hurt toe.
Other players for New Orleans who were listed as questionable on Friday but are available for Sunday are tight end Jimmy Graham (foot), defensive end Cameron Jordan (ankle), safety Kenny Vaccaro (concussion/back) and guard Jahri Evans (hip).
Linebacker Jonathan Vilma, who was added to the 53-man roster on Saturday after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery and spending the first seven games of the season on short-term injured reserve, is available to play, too.
For the Jets, quarterback David Garrard, wide receiver Santonio Holmes, running back Alex Green, guard Will Campbell, tackle Ben Ijalana, offensive lineman Oday Aboushi and tight end Jeff Cumberland are inactive.
