Saints WR Lance Moore among 5 out for Bears game

Wide receiver Lance Moore is among five New Orleans Saints players who were ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.

Moore injured his hand against Arizona in Week 3, and he’s since missed practice and the Miami game on Monday. Also ruled out for the Saints (4-0) were running back Mark Ingram (toe), safety Roman Harper (knee), defensive end Tyrunn Walker (knee), and nose tackle Brodrick Bunkley (calf).

Ingram, Harper and Walker missed practice all week. Bunkley was limited in team drills Thursday and Friday.

Defensive end Tom Johnson (hamstring) and cornerback Keenan Lewis (hip) were also limited in team drills and were questionable.

Moore’s absence means wide receiver Nick Toon will be active behind Marques Colston, Kenny Stills and Robert Meachem. Ingram’s absence means rookie Khiry Robinson will likely be active alongside Darren Sproles, Pierre Thomas and Travaris Cadet. And the absence of Walker and Bunkley mean the defensive line’s rotation will consist of nose tackle John Jenkins as well as defensive ends Cameron Jordan, Akiem Hicks and Glenn Foster.

For the Bears, safety Anthony Waters will miss the game with a hamstring injury. Defensive tackle Stephen Paea (toe) and cornerback Charles Tillman (groin/knee) are questionable. Among players listed as probable are Wide reciever Brandon Marshall (foot), tight end Martellus Bennett (shoulder) and defensive end Julius Peppers (chest).

Paea did not participate in Friday’s practice. Marshall and Tillman were limited.
