New Orleans Saints nose tackle Brodrick Bunkley will miss several games with a calf injury, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport is reporting.

Bunkley left Sunday’s 23-17 win against the Atlanta Falcons early. Rookie nose tackle John Jenkins filled in for Bunkley.

Rapoport said Bunkley’s injury won’t end his season.

Bunkley joins a long list of prominent Saints defensive players who have been injured. Outside linebacker Will Smith (knee) and defensive end Kenyon Coleman (pectoral muscle) are on season-ending injured reserve; inside linebacker Jonathan Vilma is on short-term IR; and outside linebacker Victor Butler (knee) is on the physically unable to perform list.
