BY SHELDON MICKLES| Advocate sportswriter Dec. 11, 2012 Comments What we learned It’s not hard to figure out that the Saints aren’t going to win a lot of games — if any — when Drew Brees has a passer rating of 37.6. Even though he finished with 341 yards, they were offset by his career-high five interceptions. Trending now Brees has thrown seven picks in his last two games, which is two more than he had in the previous eight games combined. He now has a total of 16 for the season — just six shy of the career-high 22 he threw in 2010. Final thoughts With their playoff hopes all but gone and in the middle of their toughest three-game stretch of the season, the Saints will have to regroup quickly and win their final four games to post a winning record for the fourth season in a row.
