1. DEFENSE-LESS?: With these teams ranking near the bottom of most NFL defensive categories and near the top on offense, sit back and get ready for a game that could run a tad long,

2. SUPER CHIEFS: None of the current Chiefs were alive then, but K.C. will be playing in the city that was the site of their Super Bowl IV win in 1970 in old Tulane Stadium.

3. HOMECOMING: The Chiefs have four former LSU players on their active roster — Dwayne Bowe, Glenn Dorsey, Tyson Jackson and Travis Daniels. Each won BCS titles with the Tigers in the Superdome.

PREDICTION

The Saints’ offense showed that it’s close to getting its act together. The question, however, is whether the defense can shake out of it early-season funk to help save the team from a dreadful 0-3 start.

SAINTS 34, CHIEFS 23
