Julius Maracalin, Plaquemine

Maracalin had his best game yet, running for 238 yards on 30 carries, averaging 7.6 yards per carry in a win over Woodlawn. The senior scored one TD and now has over 650 yards for the season.

Class 3A and below

James Martin, Ascension Catholic

Martin nearly doubled his season rushing total while powering the Bulldogs to a win over Christian Life with 195 yards on 13 carries with four TDs. He also kicked all six PATs for Class 1A ACHS.

Volleyball

Division I-II

Hannah Blanchard, St. Michael

Blanchard has set the tone for the Warriors’ defense as a libero. She has 24 service aces and has recorded 66 digs for St. Michael to date, including nine digs and three aces in a key district win last week.

Division III-IV-V

Claire Daigle,

Brusly

Daigle also plays a key role for the Panthers as a libero, compiling 111 digs and along with 15 service aces for the season. She had 24 digs in one contest and has converted 83 percent of her passing attempts.
