Louisiana swimmers earn All-America honors Louisiana swimmers earn All-America honors Advocate story July 11, 2013 Comments St. Joseph’s Academy swimmers Caroline Beene, Mary Claire Beaver, Victoria Padial, and Lindsay Hagmann were named 2012-13 NISCA/Speedo High School Swimming All-Americans. The Redstickers’ winning time in the 200-meter freestyle relay (1:37.13) at the LHSAA State Swim Meet in November ranked them in the top 100 nationally. All four girls were members of the 2012 Advocate Swimming All-Metro Team. Patrick Reiss of New Orleans’s Isidore Newman School was named as an individual NISCA Swimming All-American honors for his performances in the the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke. These were the only Louisiana swimmers to earn All-America status this year.
