Lauren McKowen, Annabel Simpson, Elizabeth Upp, Laurel Chauvin and Maura Cadigan also scored for third-seeded U-High (19-2-2). Micah Green had six saves for 30th–seeded Evangel (3-12). U-High advances to face the winner between 14th-seeded Holy Savior Menard and 19th-seeded Ouachita Christian, who square off at 5:45 p.m. Friday. In Division III, the Episcopal girls will host Grace Christian at 5:30 p.m. followed by the EHS boys game against Lafayette Christian at 7:30 p.m. In girls Division I action, No. 14 East Ascension (Sulphur) and No. 16 Dutchtown (Barbe-Lake Charles) host games at 6 p.m. St. Joseph’s Academy hosts District 5 rival St. Amant at Burbank Soccer Complex Field 4 at 3:30 p.m. Live Oak (3 p.m. at Mandeville) and Walker (4 p.m. vs. Dominican at Pan American-Stadium-New Orleans) are Division I teams on the road. In Friday’s Division I boys action, Baton Rouge High hosts Parkway at 5 p.m. Catholic High (Central Lafourche, Burbank Field 4) and St. Amant (Grace King) both host opponents at 7 p.m. In Division II, Broadmoor travels to Shreveport to play Calvary Baptist at 5 p.m., looking to give coach Chuck Guidry his 200th career win.
