Check out The Advocate’s sports pages for serious predictions on the LSU game. This forecast comes from our armchair quarterback Mike Tillman, teacher by day and extremely dedicated LSU fan by weekend.
“The moment Tiger fans have been anxiously awaiting is finally here, and this time that moment does not involve a judge or parole officer. TCU coach Gary Patterson may disagree with letting a team vote on disciplinary action, but he’ll disagree even more with whoever talked him into taking this matchup in the first place. It’s criminal that LSU can lose its entire defense and still pack this much punch. Look for Danielle Hunter to blindside whichever quarterback Patterson decides to play and for Alfred Blue and Kenny Hilliard to deliver knockout blows early in the second half. Both backs find the end zone, and Mettenberger throws a haymaker to ODB to finish off the route. The bell sounds in this one with the Tigers leading 31-13.”
