Advocate news services Aug. 23, 2013 Comments Two of LSU’s three Tuesday men’s basketball games in January will be televised on ESPN as the main Super Tuesday game in the network’s Southeastern Conference-Big 10 doubleheader, it was announced Monday. LSU will host Tennessee in the league opener at 6 p.m. Jan. 7, and the Tigers will host Kentucky at 8 p.m. Jan. 28. Both games will be televised by ESPN. LSU’s game at home against Missouri on Jan. 21 is expected to be moved to the secondary league package on ESPNU since that game was not announced as part of the Super Tuesday package. LSU has appeared on the ESPNU package a few times over the last couple of seasons, but will make its first Tuesday ESPN appearances since defeating Florida with a Mardi Gras on hand en route to the 2009 Southeastern Conference championship. Volleyball SUN SPORTS PICKS UP LSU-FLORIDA MATCH: SUN Sports announced Monday it will carry the Tigers’ match at Southeastern Conference preseason favorite Florida at 6 p.m. Nov. 22 at UF’s Stephen C.
