Stewart Jolly leads LSU golf team in Mobile, Ala.

MOBILE, Ala. — After posting a 2-over 74 in Monday’s opening round of the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate, LSU’s Stewart Jolly found himself at 1-under par through 12 holes of his second round at Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course.

With all five members of the starting lineup through holes Nos. 12-15 in their second round, the 12th-ranked Tigers cleared the course in a tie for fourth place in the 16-team field at 11-over par for the championship as play was suspended because of darkness.

The second round will resume 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and the final round will follow the conclusion of the second round.

Jolly is in for 10th place overall at 1-over par through 30 holes of the 54-hole championship. He is three shots out of the lead.

LSU junior Smylie Kaufman, who opened with a team-leading 73, follows Jolly in a tie for 15th place.
