LSU to offer USBC bowlers discounts to some events

LSU is offering discounted ticket prices to some athletic events for bowlers participating in the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships.

The offer beings with a pair of events Wednesday.

The LSU baseball team hosts McNeese State at 3 p.m. at Alex Box Stadium. On Wednesday night, LSU hosts Georgia in men’s basketball at 7 p.m. at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Bowlers can show their USBC membership card at the ticket windows at the respective venues on game days and purchase up to four tickets for the discounted price of $5. A bowler must show a valid ID with the membership card.

Discounted prices will also be offered to any Monday-Wednesday baseball game ($5), Friday night gymnastic meets ($1) and all home softball games ($1). Tickets are available for all regular season home events while supplies last.
