Jarrett Lee couldn’t get a snap in Monday’s BCS National Championship Game, but he will apparently get playing time in a pair of postseason all-star games.

Lee is on the roster for the Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game, Monday in Tucson, Ariz. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CST.

Lee has also been named to the Astroturf NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, set for 5 p.m. CST Jan. 21 in Carson, Calif., according to NFLPA spokesman Carl Francis. That game will be televised on NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus).

A total of six former LSU players have been invited to all-star games, including three players in the Senior Bowl, 3 p.m. Jan. 28 in Mobile, Ala.

Safety Brandon Taylor, tight end Deangelo Peterson and offensive guard Will Blackwell are all slated to play in the Senior Bowl on the South Squad, which will be coached by Mike Shanahan and his Washington Redskins staff.

The 63rd Senior Bowl game and practice sessions are set to be televised on the NFL Network.

“LSU had a tremendous season, and we’re thrilled to be able to bring three deserving players off their SEC Championship squad to this year’s Senior Bowl,” Senior Bowl President and CEO Steve Hale said in a news release. “All three players played key roles in leading LSU to the BCS National Championship game and number two national ranking this season.”

Two other former Tigers — linebacker Karnell Hatcher and offensive lineman Greg Shaw — have been invited to play in the Battle of Florida, 7 p.m. Jan. 21 in Boca Raton, Fla. (Fox College Sports).

Hatcher, who switched from safety to a starting outside linebacker position as a senior, finished with 24 tackles, three quarterback hurries and two pass deflections. Shaw played 181 snaps in LSU’s first 13 games (starting one) but was not listed on the participation chart in the BCS game.

Taylor, a three-year starter, started all 14 games this season, finishing second on the team with 71 tackles. He added 7.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and five pass breakups.

Peterson, who started five games in 2011 and 10 in his career, ranked third among LSU receivers with 18 catches for 179 yards and one touchdown this season. For his career, Peterson caught 39 passes for 459 yards and three touchdowns, ending up as one of the most productive tight ends in school history.

Blackwell had his best season at LSU in 2011, earning first-team All-America honors after playing a team-high 779 snaps with 112.5 knockdowns during the regular season. A native of West Monroe, Blackwell was also a first team All-Southeastern Conference selection as a senior as well as one of two permanent team captains on offense.

Lee completed 104-of-167 passes his senior season for 1,306 yards with 14 touchdowns and three interceptions. For his career, Lee completed 317 of 565 passes for 3,949 yards with 32 TDs and 21 interceptions.

Lee started LSU’s first nine games, but after throwing two interceptions in the Tigers’ 9-6 overtime win Nov. 5 at Alabama, Lee completed just 3 of 5 passes for 32 yards and one TD the rest of the way.

His only action in the SEC Championship Game was to take a knee on the final play, and he didn’t see the field in a 21-0 loss Monday to Alabama.
