Men’s basketball tickets now on sale for public
LSU men’s basketball season tickets are on sale at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office in the Administration Building or online at LSUtix.net.
Season ticket prices begin at $100 for the 15-game home schedule.
The Tigers open the regular season on at noon Nov. 12 against Nicholls State as the first part of a basketball-football doubleheader.
The LSU football team will host Western Kentucky later that day.

TEAM NPF TOPS TIGERS, 4-1: The softball team carried a one-run lead into the seventh inning and had Team NPF down to its final strike before the Tigers fell 4-1 to the professional team Tuesday at Tiger Park.
“I’m pretty proud of how it went,” LSU coach Beth Torina said. “I’m proud of our team, I’m proud of the city of Baton Rouge and the LSU fans. Everybody came out, and I thought it was a good showing. The NPF thought this was one of the best crowds, if not the best crowd. I’m proud of how the whole event went for us.”
Brittany Mack pitched 6.1 innings of two-hit ball, getting out of a bases-loaded jam in the first inning, then retiring 17 straight batters. She finished with seven strikeouts.
Ashley Langoni had a home run and played well on defense for the Tigers.
Lisa Norris carried a no-hitter into the fifth inning before Ashley Applegate singled to center field to open the fifth inning. Norris racked up 16 strikeouts and surrendered two hits in a 136-pitch effort.
The Tigers return to action this weekend hosting Chipola (Fla.) Community College at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nichols State at 5 p.m. Saturday and McNeese State at 3 p.m. Sunday as part of the LSU Collegiate Fall Classic. All of LSU’s fall softball games have free admission.
LSU NO. 27 IN RPI, NO. 18 IN SOCCER AMERICA POLL: The soccer team received a No. 27 rating in the latest Ratings Percentage Index on Wednesday, while dropping four spots to No. 18 in the latest Soccer America Top 25 poll.
The Tigers (10-4-1, 5-1 SEC) play at Auburn at 7 p.m. Friday and at Alabama at 1 p.m. Sunday.
