Former LSU QB Ryan Perrilloux has signed with the New Orleans VooDoo

Former LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux has signed with the New Orleans VooDoo, marking his return to the sport.

Perrilloux was once the highest-touted recruit of Tigers coach Les Miles and the hero of the Tigers' 2007 SEC Championship game, leading to the BCS National Championship game - he stepped in for an injured Matt Flynn - before being dismissed by Miles in May 2008.

He played at East St. John High School where he became a five-star recruit.

The VooDoo ended the 2013 season with a 5-13 mark, which included an eight-game losing streak. The team also played a number of quarterbacks, including Kurt Rocco (2,319 yards, 49 touchdowns), who returns this spring
