Pelicans' Tyreke Evans to miss one to two weeks with ankle sprain

The New Orleans Pelicans announced Monday that Tyreke Evans has been diagnosed with a left ankle sprain. The injury occurred during the third quarter of the December 6 game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Evans is expected to miss 1-2 weeks.

In 19 games this season, Evans is averaging 11.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.3 steals in 24.9 minutes per game.
