Paul Castro and Carl Amedee finished second in gross score, while Russell Williams and Wayne Grip finished second in net score. In the first flight, Jason Ambeau and DJ Johnson had the top gross score, followed by Ricky Carter and Stephen Martin. Keith Falgoust and Clay Waddell had the top net score in the first flight, followed by Jeff Watkins and Danny Louque. Youth golf CALDWELL WINS TOURNAMENT: Blake Caldwell of Ponchatoula won the recent Waste Management/Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour tournament at Carter Plantation in Springfield, firing a 67-69—136. Caldwell’s 8-under par is a tournament record and gave him the title over Colin Troxclair (73-70—143). Abbey Daniel of Covington (84-89—173) won the girls division. Running DADDY DAUGHTER & SON WINNERS NAMED: Walker Higgins of Port Allen was the single stroller division winner of the recent Daddy, Daughter & Son 2-Mile Relay. Higgins had a winning time of 11 minutes, 57.7 seconds. Kyle Golden of Baton Rouge was second (12:06.9), followed by Clay Jackson of Baton Rouge (13:10.5). Andre France of Baton Rouge won the double stroller division (12:40.5), followed by Jeremy Jillson of Baton Rouge (15:28.2) and Scott Patton of Baton Rouge (15:56.2). Charles Biggio of Kenner won the single participant division (26.06.4). Babin Team won the two-person relay (26:22.7), followed by Giles Team (26:26.2) and Lahaye Team (27:00.2). Williams Team won the three-person relay (44:24.5), followed by Stauss Team (44:25.7) and Andrews Team (50:21.7). Daigle Team 1 (57:59.2) won the four-person relay, followed by Smith Team (59:49.7) and Talley Gehbauer (1:06:03.9).
