Georgia defeats LSU 71-53 in the SEC women's basketball tournament

Third-seeded Georgia defeated LSU 71-53 in the quarterfinals of the SEC women's basketball tournament at The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga.

The loss snapped a seven-game winning streak for LSU (20-11).

This was the first game of the tournament for Georgia (25-5)
