LSU batters Southeastern Louisiana for 18 hits in 13-1 victory in baseball

LSU pitcher Brent Bonvillain started against Brigham Young on Feb. 23 at Alex Box Stadium. Bonvillain will start again Tuesday night when the Tigers host Stephen F. Austin in his final 'audition' for the Sunday starting role during Southeastern Conference play.

LSU pounded a season-high 19 hits and got some strong starting pitching from Ryan Eades in a 13-1 victory against Southeastern Louisiana at Alex Box.

Eades pitched six innings allowing one run on seven hits and had five strikeouts and one walk. Raph Rhymes tied a career high with two doubles in a game, something he has done six times.

LSU (6-1) scored 11 runs on two-out hits.
