The EHS girls won 8-0 over Metairie Park Country Day and the boys won 6-0 over Rapides. The EHS girls played on the road, while the boys were at home. Boys soccer Episcopal 6, rapides 0: Six players scored goals as the Knights cruised to the win. Lance Lamotte, Brannon Bienasz , Adam Clausen, Clement Mubungirwa, Carter James and Cody Mitchell all found the net for Episcopal. The Knights (18-6-1) will play Lusher Charter in a quarterfinal later this week. Girls soccer Episcopal 8, Country Day 0: Nicole Newton scored three goals and Caroline Goodner two as the Knights earned the shutout. Scoring one goal apiece were Taylor Coleman, Darby Huye and Summer Rhynes. In two playoff games, the Knights have outscored their opponents 16-0. Episcopal advanced to the quarterfinals, where it will play Catholic-New Iberia.
