Hornets unveil new "Pelicans" logo

The New Orleans Hornets unveiled their new "Pelicans" logo, which becomes effective after this season, during brand launch on Thursday.

"This is a great day for us," Hornets owner Tom Benson said. "We gave a lot of thought and a lot of work into what this would mean to us. We wanted something....The New Orleans Saints means a great deal to this community, known throughout the world. Now, the New Orleans Pelicans, we're going to get it known throughout the world, too."
