Michael Ford latest Tiger to opt for draft

LSU running back Michael Ford has decided to enter the NFL draft, according to a tweet from LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette on Monday.

Ford, a 5-foot-10, 216-pound junior from Leesville, played in 13 games and rushed for 392 yards and three touchdowns last season.

Best of luck to him. Incredible number of jrs turning pro. I believe 2 or 3 basically have degrees wrapped up. LSU will be there for those who don't pan out...no worries.

remember the time when underclassmen were not allowed to be drafted . percentages suggest that most who enter early will achieve little success . take advantage of that free education , get your degree , you'll more than likely need it .
