The LSU football team started the first of its two-a-day practices on Thursday morning, and photographer Bill Feig of The Advocate was there. The Tigers open their seaon on Spet. 1 first against North Texas in a night game at Tiger Stadium. LSU coach Les Miles is confident about the team's prospects this season. The Tigers will begin the season ranked No. 1 in the USA Today Sports Coaches' Poll.
