Rain stalls game at 4-4; resumes Sat. at 10:05 a.m.

LSU and Stony Brook were tied 4-4 in the NCAA Super Regional at Alex Box Stadium. Friday, when the rain began. LSU won the game on Saturday morning 5-4.

LSU scored the game-tying run in its last atbat three different times in its Super Regional game against Stony Brook on Friday, but it couldn’t overcome Mother Nature.

After a rain delay of more than two hours, the game stopped with the score tied at 4-4 in the top of the 12th inning.

The game is scheduled to resume on Saturday at 10:05 a.m.

When Game 1 is completed, the stadium will be cleared and Game 2 will begin 50 minutes after the first game is concluded.
