SLC Hitter of the Week

Katie Doyle, OF, SLU, Jr.

Doyle hit .600 with six runs and three doubles, going 4-for-4 with three doubles and four runs in a doubleheader sweep of Grambling on Tuesday and scoring the game-winning run in the bottom of the 12th inning to top UT-Arlington 4-3 on Friday. And her bases-loaded RBI single keyed a five-run fifth inning and an eventual 6-0 win over UTA, allowing the Lady Lions to complete its only Southland Conference series sweep of the season. She is the first SLU player to earn the league honor this season.
