The play in question occurred in the first quarter of the game. Saints defensive end Cameron Luck nearly sacked Andrew Luck on the play, but Luck stepped out of it and was grabbed by Hicks. Hicks then wrapped his arm around Luck’s neck and slammed him to the turf. Hick’s fine comes in at the maximum amount allowed under the league’s fine schedule.
