Saints last training camp practice has plenty of highlights on Tuesday

Some notes and observations from Tuesday's practice, which was conducted in shorts and shells.

-- Rafael Bush was not on the field at the start of practice for undisclosed reasons. Safety Marcus Ball was spotted on the sidelines without pads on after missing recent practices. He spent some time riding a stationary bike.

-- Linebacker Kevin Reddick, defensive back Rob Sweeting, and quarterback Logan Kilgore were not spotted. Kenny Stills (quad) also was not seen.

-- Sean Payton once again got involved in practice, this time throwing passes to running backs.

-- Linebacker Khairi Fortt did conditioning work in the end zone.

-- Patrick Robinson stripped Morgan during a one-on-one drill.

-- Derek Dimke and Shayne Graham hit their field goals from 39 and 50 yards. Graham missed one from 33.

-- Marques Colston dropped a pair of passes during one-on-ones.

-- Skeleton drills between the offense and defense were pretty sloppy. Brees had some issues with ball placement and there were some dropped passes.

-- Pierre Thomas dropped a pitch during 11-on-11 drills. Kasim Edebali recovered it.

-- The Saints had Jairus Byrd serving as the protector on punts.

-- The Saints spent some time working on moving the ball off the goal line. They then did some red-zone work.

-- Patrick Robinson broke up a pass intended for Nick Toon in the end zone.

-- Joe Morgan made a nice adjustment to make a diving catch, but he came up lame and limped off the field.
