Payton did not specifically say if Brees' wife, Brittany, was giving birth to the couple's fourth child, but he did hint at it. "I don't have any news, but I think you guys will probably hear -- I don't know how you'd hear," Payton said. "Everything is going good and I think you'll hear something." Brees returned to the field for Saturday's win over the Indianapolis Colts after missing the first two preseason games due to a left oblique strain. He completed 9-of-15 passes for 128 yards with two touchdowns. It is not known if Brees will play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Baltimore Ravens. Payton said he expects Ryan Griffin to see a good amount of snaps in that game.
