Saints go through walkthroughs and positional work in Tuesday practice

A handful of observations from Tuesday's practice:

- Senio Kelemete worked with the first-team offense with Ben Grubbs missing from practice.

- Keenan Lewis spent some time on a rowing machine. He exited Friday's game with an undisclosed injury and has not practiced since.

- The first hour of practice contained a walkthrough and positional work. The receivers and running backs worked on running routes, the offensive line engaged in a blocking drill, the defensive backs worked on defending routes, and the defensive line and linebackers worked on technique.

- Safety Jairus Byrd took part in a handful of snaps during team drills.

- Corey White continued his strong offseason by stripping Khiry Robinson.

- Lewis did some rehab work in the end zhz 11-on-11 work before going through special teams work. Byrd was on one of the kick coverage teams.

- The team then went through 7-on-7 drills.

-Brian Dixon prevented a deep pass to Seantavius Jones down the left sideline. Jones bobbled it and nearly pulled it in, but Dixon batted it out before the catch could be completed.

- Akiem Hicks appeared to be limited.

- David Hawthorne lit up Khiry Robinson to break up a screen pass

- Tobais Palmer made a nice catch down the left sideline on a pass from Ryan Griffin.

- Nice blitz recondition by Drew Brees, who notice the safety coming and hit Jimmy Graham on a short pass. Graham turned it upfield for a touchdown.

- Luke McCown got loose for a 20-yard touchdown run.

- Tyler Beckum sprawled out to make a diving grab on a pass from Griffin for a touchdown. Beckum later had another touchdown catch.
