Veteran coach Cam Cameron was introduced Friday as LSU’s new offensive coordinator in a news conference at the school’s athletic administration building.
Cameron, 52, replaces Greg Studrawa, who served in that capacity the last two seasons.
Cameron has held a number of positions in college and pro football, most recently as offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens fired Cameron in December before making their run to win Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans.
Cameron served as head coach at his alma mater Indiana and with the Miami Dolphins. He also coached with the San Diego Chargers, Washington Redskins and at Michigan, where he became close friends with LSU coach Les Miles.
Cameron becomes the fifth offensive coordinator in Miles’ nine seasons at LSU, following Jimbo Fisher, Gary Crowton, Steve Kragthorpe and Studrawa.
