Tuesday: Area south of the Intracoastal Waterway, east of La. 1 (including Brusly and Addis). Wednesday: Area south of the Intracoastal Canal, west of La. 1 (including Brusly and Addis). Lunchtime lecture The West Baton Rouge Museum will present “Both Sides of the River: Highland and Bird Cemeteries Lunch Time Lecture” at noon Wednesday. Kenny Kleinpeter, sexton for the Highland Cemetery in East Baton Rouge, will present his research on the Highland Cemetery and the Ben Hur Cemetery, which is located in West Baton Rouge Parish. Lego challenge The West Baton Rouge Parish Library is hosting Lego Challenge Days at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and Aug. 8. Children and adults are invited to bring their ideas, and the library will provide the Legos and offer building challenges. Thursday is the date for building tall buildings and constructing the weight-bearing bridges. On Aug. 8, attendees will be challenged to build vehicles. Tailgating fair The West Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce is now selling tickets for its “Tailgating Taste Fair” scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Port Allen Community Center. The chamber will award first-, second- and third-place honors for the best-decorated table and a people’s choice award will be given for the event’s best dish. Tickets are $15 per person.
