The West Baton Rouge Museum will be sending the traveling exhibit “Our Lives, Our Stories: America’s Greatest Generation” to its next venue in early January.
The last day of the exhibit at the West Baton Rouge Museum will be Jan. 6. The museum is open on Sundays from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.
The exhibit explores the life arc of the World War II generation.

Former Gov. Edwin W. Edwards is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the Iberville Chamber of Commerce’s annual membership banquet on Thursday, Jan. 17.
The event will be held at the Nottoway Plantation Resort in White Castle. Drinks will be served starting at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will follow at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $50 apiece for chamber members and their guests and $75 each for all non-members.

High school reunion
The former Cohn High School Grand Reunion for graduating classes of 1949 through 1969 will be held Friday through Sunday.

Friday night movie
The Pointe Coupee Parish Historical Society is inviting the public to its final movie night for 2012 of its Louisiana Film Series.
On Friday, the Historical Society will present “The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman,” starring Cicely Tyson.
The movie, based on the novel by Ernest Gaines, will start at 7 p.m. at the Poydras Center, 500 W. Main St., New Roads.
The movie is free and open to the public.
Fresh popcorn and cold drinks will be available for purchase.

Cocktails for the theater
We Are the Difference is inviting the public to fun and libation during its “Martini, Wine and Beer Tasting” at The Comogo Room from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 12.
Tickets are $20 and all proceeds from the event will be used to fund the Iberville Little Theater’s productions in 2013.
