Bobby Jindal announced Wednesday he is signing into law legislation that will allow Louisiana motorists to proclaim “I’m a Cajun” on their driver’s licenses. State Sen. Fred Mills, R-St. Martinville, filed Senate Bill 201 to allow the designation to be added in the color block below a driver’s photograph. Adding the designation would cost the motorist $5 a year. The money generated will go to the Council for the Development of French in Louisiana.
