Austin Rashaad Jackson, 17, is wanted in an attempted first-degree murder that occurred in the 700 block of Ann Street, Lt. Jeremy Kelly said in a news release. Jackson is the second man suspected in the shooting of an 18-year-old man after an argument at about 2:30 a.m. The victim was taken to a hospital. Iberia investigators, hours after the shooting on Friday, arrested Kareem Jamal Wilson, 20, of New Iberia. Wilson was booked on one count of principal to attempted first-degree murder. On Tuesday, the Sheriff’s Office identified Jackson as the suspect they believe pulled the trigger. Anyone with information on Jackson’s whereabouts may call detectives at (337) 369-3711.
