Dennaryo Lathers, 20, 2245 Cunard Ave., was arrested on an additional three counts of attempted first-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon, according to Baton Rouge police.

Octavia Jackson, 27, 2326 Rhodes Ave., was shot multiple times in the upper torso with a handgun while sitting in the front passenger seat of a vehicle about 2 a.m. outside the club, 3964 Plank Road, police said at the time.

The driver, a friend of Jackson’s, drove her to Baton Rouge General Medical Center hospital, but she was pronounced dead on arrival. A second victim was shot but survived.

The shooting followed an argument inside the club.
