Ronald James George, 28, of Lafayette, was booked on two counts of attempted second-degree murder on Monday, Cpl. Paul Mouton said in a release. George allegedly used his vehicle on March 21 to block a car in the 500 block of Benoit Falgout Drive in north Lafayette near Interstate 10, Mouton said. Neither of the two people inside the car was injured. George is being held on $150,000 bond in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The case remains under investigation.
