Blaine Ross Doremus, 42, 15414 Ferrell Ave., Baton Rouge, was booked into Parish Prison on counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, prison records show. In the newest accusations, the victim, an 11-year-old girl, said he made her try on lingerie for him, then put it back in the drawer, according to the affidavit of probable cause. He had been arrested on Feb. 17 on five counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and one count of sexual battery from the other incidents, but was released from Parish Prison on Thursday. Police: Children in car while mom smokes pot Baton Rouge police said they arrested a Mississippi woman Sunday after they found her smoking marijuana in the car with her two young children, then leaving them in the car while she went shopping in Cortana Mall. Jasmin Washington, 30, 138 Homochitto St., Natchez, Miss., was booked into Parish Prison on counts of child desertion, contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and possession of Schedule I drugs. An off-duty police officer working security at the mall found a Ford Taurus with the two children, ages 2 and 4, sleeping inside, according to the affidavit of probable cause. When security made a page through the Mall speaker systems, Washington walked up to the security officer, smelling of marijuana, the affidavit says. “Washington stated she smoked it all up,” the officer wrote in the affidavit. She admitted to smoking marijuana with the children in the car, then going inside the mall to go to the restroom and go shopping with her sister, the affidavit says. 3 accused of driving while intoxicated Authorities arrested at least three people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday, booking records show. Those booked and the counts against them: Christopher Pickering, 32, 19676 Womack Road, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and possession of alcoholic beverage in a vehicle. Ryan Sharp, 28, 6929 W.
