Woman booked in Saturday stabbing
East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff’s deputies arrested a 23-year-old woman accused of stabbing a man during a Saturday night argument inside a Gardere area apartment.
Deputies booked Tiara Bush, 23, 2905 Laurel St., Baton Rouge, into Parish Prison on a count of attempted second-degree murder, according to Parish Prison booking records.
Deputies arrived at the 8000 block of Skysail Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday to find a 34-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds to the body, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
The man was taken to a hospital and he is expected to survive, said Casey Rayborn Hicks, a Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.
A trail of blood led investigators to an apartment at 8069 Ned Ave., where deputies found “a large amount of blood” on the porch and inside the apartment’s living room, the affidavit said.
They also found Bush, who was arrested without incident, the affidavit said.
Bush is accused of stabbing the man multiple time with an unknown object, the affidavit said.
