Sheriff’s deputies teamed up with two 17-year-olds who went into each store and tried to buy alcoholic beverages, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office. Arrested and issued summonses for unlawful sale to persons under 21 were: Kyle Sheets, 47, 13185 Gold Place Drive, St. Amant; LaTaunya Cage, 30, 41149 La. 429, Prairieville; Dana Brown, 34, 12322 Dutchtown Lane, No. 14, Geismar; Laterrika Sanders, 21, 184 Grisaffe Lane, Belle Rose; and Ryan Avrill, 20, 40417 Adele St., Gonzales, the news release said. The teens working with the deputies were able to buy alcohol at Top Fuel, 13357 Airline Highway; Gonzales Dutchtown Tiger Mart, 13475 La. 73; Chips II Grocery, 15530 La. 44; Gonzales Triple S, 44429 La. 429; and St. Amant Rende’s Quick Stop, 10032 Airline Highway, Gonzales, the news release said.
