Corey Moore, 44, 2739 68th Ave., was booked into Parish Prison on a count of second-degree murder, police spokesman Cpl. L’Jean McKneely said. Hamilton died about 3 a.m. Saturday at his home at 8853 Edwin St. after he was stabbed multiple times. The victim had a group of people over at his house and got into an argument with one of the men, McKneely has said. “They got into an argument, which led to a tussle, and the tussle ended up with him being stabbed,” he has said. The suspect, identified by others at the house as the person who stabbed Hamilton, left the scene in a blue Dodge Challenger. Moore’s bond is set at $200,000, booking records show.
